Birth preparation Course with Partner (English) March 2026

This weekend course offers a calm and supportive space to prepare for birth and the time after. You’ll receive practical tools, evidence-based knowledge, and emotional support as you get ready for this new chapter as a family.

You’ll be encouraged to explore what feels right for you as you move into parenthood. The course focuses on understanding the birth process, learning how to support the birthing partner, building trust in your body, and gaining confidence to make your own decisions. Alongside clear information, there is space for reflection, questions, and open exchange with other expecting families.

The Course topics

• The stages of labour, how to recognise and handle them
• Breathing techniques, birthing positions, massages
• Coping with challenges during labour and making informed decisions
• The role of the partner during birth and in the early postpartum period
• Emotional wellbeing and mental health around birth
• The first days with your baby: bonding, feeding and recovery

Course Format

07.-08. March 2026: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Live at Klinikum am Urban at “Elternschule”

Costs

The course is fully covered by public health insurance for the pregnant participant.

The partner fee is €160. Most health insurance providers reimburse part of this amount upon submission of a payment confirmation. If paying the full partner fee is not possible for personal or financial reasons, please feel free to reach out via email.
