After pregnancy and birth the body needs time to regenerate. After some weeks of totally recovery (6-8 weeks after vaginal birth/ 12 weeks after caesarean delivery) you can start to train your body again following a program of postpartum exercises.
In Germany your health insurance covers the costs for a special postpartum course guided by a midwife with many specific exercises focused on awareness, training and strengthening of pelvic floor, core and back muscles.
I’m Giulia, midwife (at Klinikum Am Urban) and also yoga teacher.
In my classes you will find some anatomy theory combined with specific exercises and many yoga elements, like breath exercises, asanas, some rituals and meditation.
· 8 classes (75 minutes each, 10 hours in total)
· covered by health insurance (if you attend the course latest 9 months after giving birth)
· this course is only for women, without babies
· min. 6 – max. 9 participants
PLEASE NOTE: the health insurance covers the cost for the classes – only – if you actually participate and sign a presence list. Therefore please bring 30€ in cash as a deposit to the first lesson. In case of missed attendance, the midwife will keep 10€ for class.
If the class get canceled because of the midwife, there will be an alternative date on August 30, 2023.
You can cancel your registration up to 2 weeks before the start of the course, after that the midwife have to invoice you privately the full amount of 80€.
