Antenatal Class for you and your birth partner

In this two-day antenatal class led by midwife Magdalena Sternberger you will be prepared for your upcoming birth and the first time with your newborn.

At the same you will time have the chance to network and get to know other expectant parents. The class will be held in english.

You will learn how you can optimally support your body in the last weeks of pregnancy, how you can recognize that birth has begun, how birth actually “works” and in which phases it takes place. We will also address possible complications and interventions, but the focus is on preparing you positively for the birth and encouraging you to trust your body. Of course, your partner or companion plays a special role. We will discuss in detail how they can best support you on your journey.

In addition to the lots of exciting, new and fascinating information, a large part of the course will also consist of breathing and relaxation exercises that can be helpful during birth, but also during pregnancy.

I hope that after this course you will be well informed, strengthened, confident and look forward to the birth and the first time with your child.

You will give birth to a new life, a new independent person. Be proud of yourself and let yourself be celebrated as (expectant) parents!

The course is designed for you and your (birth)partner and you will benefit most from all the exercises if you come together. No matter who you choose to accompany your birth - that person is welcome on the course. 

The course takes place on a weekend, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 / 3  p.m. and is covered by the health insurance company for the pregnant person. The partner fee is €130. Some health insurance companies now reimburse this fee up to 100€ - all you have to do is submit the confirmation of payment and participation certificate to your health insurance company after the course.
